Testimonials from Parents

My son has been attending MDCCC since he was 16 months old, and we’ve had a really positive experience. The teachers, staff and director  are amazing at what they do. Always showing lots of kindness as well as facilitating a warm and welcoming classroom environment. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. My son has learned a lot while attending MDCCC and we are very thankful to be apart this childcare center.

I feel incredibly blessed to have my child attend Mater Dei Child Care Center. The staff and educators are absolutely wonderful. I am forever grateful to them. They are kind and helpful. It’s a safe place for children to learn and thrive. I’m so happy I found a place for my child to attend that overall is such a great place. By Jessica Bullock

Our daughter is so happy at school. Mater Dei child care has a different atmosphere than other places. It’s the teachers and the environment. I also think it helps that they let God into their curriculum and pray before meals and sing uplifting songs.

The teachers send pictures everyday and share what skills the kids are working on. The teachers think of activities to teach important life habits like encouraging others by cheering them on, passing around artwork that their classmates made and how to take special care of and respect each other’s work. They even made cookies from scratch as a classroom! Each kid had a part in combining and measuring ingredients and they all ate the cookies they made afterwards, sitting at a table together. I really like the playground too. It’s peaceful out there and lots of things to climb and ride and pretend play.

Our daughter has only been at Mater Dei a couple months and I can already say it is my favorite child care we have gone to and this is the fourth one we have gone to, due to daycare closings and other reasons. We are waiting until an opening comes up for our son so he can go too! We know he will love the structure and playing with other kids and learning from the teacher. Can’t wait!

P.S. Our family is not Catholic but we feel very welcome and like the curriculum and atmosphere so much that we may even consider grade school at Mater Dei, which was not in our plans previously. The school is just that impactful in this short time.
